Volunteers wishing to welcome vets back from the three-day trip in September can do so at the Holiday Inn off Interstate 675 in Fairborn at 5 p.m., Sept. 23, according to Dayton Honor Flight.
Dayton Honor Flight is putting out a special call for commanders, first sergeants, other military personnel, community leaders and first responders to make the return home a “heroes welcoming heroes” event.
